The game is free, but you can remove ads for $2.99.ProsIntuitive touch controls: Press and hold your thumb on the bottom of the phone over the blue thumbprint and move it only slightly to carve tight turns along the slopes or more dramatically for wider ones. Switch to Finger control under Controls in the Main Menu if you'd prefer to use your finger. In testing, we felt like we had more control using the latter method.Meet quirky characters: You'll meet and follow quirky characters like the Yoda-like Pathmaker and the arrogant Gary Pine as you work your way down the mountain.Imperfect is OK: When you ski past the indicated side of each gate (red arrow for left and blue arrow for right), you can hit the gate's pole on a tight turn without wiping out. Also, if you fail a level several times, you can eventually skip it.Ski for the finish or the gold: You can either play just to complete levels or go for the gold by getting to the finish line more quickly. But if you do achieve a gold medal, you get experience points, which help you unlock cool custom ski clothes.Charming pixelated graphics: Fans of old arcade graphics will love the old-school pixelated graphics in this game.ConsRepetitive: The game becomes more of the same after just 15 minutes of play, making it better for short doses than for playing hours on end.Bottom LineSkiing: Yeti Mountain for iPhone is a great sports game to play when you can "carve" out 15 minutes from your busy schedule.
