By default, It will keep the last 14 days worth of the pictures that you have received. It will also allow you to request previous pictures by scrolling backwards thru time. It will also automatically retrieve a new picture each day 05:00 o'clock local time.The NASA Daily Picture Application is a program to help everyone to enjoy and learn more about the universe we live in. It is our hope that this app will encourage you to learn more about the space programs that are expanding every day at https://www.nasa.gov/. It will only show you the picture of the day which is just a small part of the complete NASA web site. It will save the last several days of pictures that you have retrieved and display them at system start up.
