Privy Chat for Facebook

In fact, this app offers less than Facebook's own chat app, making it especially bare when compared to some of the more advanced chat apps available. Still, if you want a minimalist chat experience, this app may be your best bet.Privy Chat connects to your Facebook to help you send messages to your friends. It takes a while to get your Facebook fully connected, as the app demands all sorts of permissions that you have to accept separately. All in all, we had to tap our way through four different pages just to get through to the app. Once we did, Privy Chat found all of our past messages and presented them in a blank white layout. The app doesn't offer smiles, emoji, or anything else that other chat apps give you. It just lets you chat with your friends. Loading an individual chat window wasn't instant and it sometimes took more than 20 seconds until we were able to send a message.Now that Facebook has its own Messenger app, there isn't much going for this application. Privy Chat is fine if you don't like bells and whistles on your chat apps. However, if you need more, this app just doesn't offer enough to keep you away from the many other available Facebook chat apps.
