Since most companies use different databases (Microsoft Access, SQL for web and Oracle for inventory tracking, for example), the usefulness of this software is apparent to any person who has ever worked in the database management field. Firstly, the program uses ADO and BDE to build reports, but does not require having BDE installed. Secondly, the program can utilize third-party applications by using a built-in ActiveX object. MetaReport Developer Kit contains MetaReport - a powerful report designer, and MetaReportRuntime - a redistributable runtime module.
