Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffOctober 23, 2020 Backing up your computer is a necessary evil that can save you some headaches down the road. However, actually remembering to do it is easier said than done. @MAX SyncUp automates backup to wherever you want it to, but requires you to pay up. Finding all the options for your files isn't difficult thanks to the program's clean user interface. While a one-time payment of $45 is competitive with that of other automated backup services, it's still not cheap. Those programs usually offer more speeds and cloud storage options, too. @MAX SyncUp can store your backup to Google Drive cloud server, a feature it touts heavily. However, Google Drive only gives you 5GB of storage free, which means you'll have to pay even more monthly to store more. What this program does give you is the ability to create restore points for your files like you would for Windows. It has some solid customization options every time you back up and offers bidirectional synchronization if you wish to sync your files and folders with another remote machine or network, which enables easy sharing and updating. @MAX SyncUp is suitable for individuals who wish to secure their important files and documents from accidents caused by deletion, hardware issues, viruses, or system crashes. It is also geared toward small businesses and teams working together, as it allows easy transfer and storage of shared files to an FTP server, as well as easy synchronization when any changes have been made to the files. It only lacks more cloud storage options. Editors' note: This is a review of the trial version of @Max SyncUp 2.9.
