The plain main window of You Will Learn It displays small, colored text that's difficult to read and gives you little indication of how to get started. However, if you dig through the menu items, you'll be able to figure out how to create a quiz without too much effort. When you get an answer wrong when taking a test, a Windows box displays the answer. (Warning: Answers are case-sensitive.) This program does offer multiple answer formats with an exact-order option, and there's a Demon feature that combines problem questions from different sets. Users can click the Log feature to see a progress report. The Kids mode includes a more colorful screen that can verbally ask users questions; however, the program uses the clunky Microsoft speech engine, which is hard to understand most of the time. You Will Learn It is not a cutting-edge educational application and is a rather large download, but it may fit the bill for some parents.
