Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffAugust 7, 2006Toddlerstuff is designed to help young children learn the basics, but it is marred by a few design flaws.Upon launch, the program's colorful interface takes over your entire screen and is accompanied by an audio file. It features large buttons for Toddlerstuff's assortment of learning modules to teach kids letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. You'll also find animal sounds, nursery songs, a simple drawing module, coloring pages, and two memory games to help entertain kids. The program only responds to the mouse, making it pretty useful to kids unfamiliar with keyboard functions.Toddlerstuff combines learning modes and test modes to boost your kid's skill levels. Unfortunately, when compared to similar programs, this one falls short on positive affirmations and spoken options. We also didn't like that the background music can't be turned off. Still, both parents and their preschoolers will appreciate this 15-day trial.
