Plopp's colorful, kid-friendly UI comes with an animated character that guides you through the program. You'll find preloaded landscape and background images and easy-to-use drawing tools such as crayons, fill buckets, and a color palette to simulate actual drawing and coloring. What sets this app apart is its pump feature, which transforms your drawings into 3D objects. It's neat that you can even change the time of day in drawings by adjusting the arrow in the sun-moon icon. After finishing your masterpiece, you can save it, send it as an e-card, print, or set it as your desktop wallpaper. Unfortunately, the save feature is disabled in this demo version. On another negative note, Plopp consumes way too much memory and made our PC sluggish. Also, there were several instances when the program froze and we were forced to reboot. Once they get past the system issues, however, parents and children alike will appreciate what Plopp brings to the table.
