Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffSeptember 13, 2004Aimed at math students just beginning to analyze three-dimensional objects, this program creates simple, interactive 3D models of geometrical forms. Users can choose the number of sides, adjust the height and length of sides, or otherwise tweak an object's parameters, and instantly see how it affects the shape. Models can be rotated in space, zoomed in or out, and viewed as a solid object or transparent net. However, the program offers little in the way of bells or whistles. The interface feels a bit outdated, and the ability to modify the colors of the background and objects is limited. The software periodically displays a registration reminder, which forces users to restart in order to continue. The trial version will function for only 30 days. However, for students struggling to visualize what are otherwise geometrical abstractions, this software could provide considerable help.
