Developer's DescriptionBy Hipsh TextTrain problem solving in high school physics.iTrainer is an freeware application for training of problem solving in high school physics. A focused set of question in one learning subject will provide the necessary training practice. In each question the solution is composed step by step by the student just as it is done in a common physics exam. The application presents a new method to computerized interactive training by guided steps. In each step a student needs to choose the relevant tool from a predefined tool-list that the application offer. After tool selection (which stand for a physical formula) the student need to choose the correct parameters to fill in the tool/formula. The main part in understanding the question is selecting the correct tool and using the correct parameters for it. The guided step approach presented by this application skips the part of the tedious numeric calculation required in traditional training which not really helps in the understanding of the physics. The application is satisfied with the student answer once he selected the right tool and the parameters in order to decide that he had answer a question correctly. For the objective of physics training the software focus the student efforts in physics itself saving time and effort on non useful calculations done with PC or with handheld calculator (as finding square root of a number or finding roots of an quadratic-equation).
