Developer's DescriptionBy MarteQHelp beginners learn common words and phrases.Modest is a Spanish language tutor designed to help beginners learn and memorize over 700 of the most common words and phrases (it can also be used by Spanish-speakers to learn English.) The program works using a quiz format, with questions displayed sequentially and the user typing in answers. There are different categories of questions, and hints are available to help with difficult questions. The program keeps a running score of the user's progress. Modest Spanish tutor includes the option to either recognize or ignore accents in words, which is helpful for users without a Spanish keyboard. The order of question/answer can be reversed for a different challenge, and it's possible for questions to be displayed in a random series rather than sequentially. The program is modular by design, and questions can be added or removed by editing a simple text file.
