It has been developed as a part of the VTShost.com free e-learning project. By setting a new, open and freely available standard for creating computerised interactive teaching material, VTS allows the interface to be platform- and storage-media independent. This means that teaching material can be viewed both directly over the Internet as well as from CDs, hard drives or local area networks. Version 1.12 contains extended support for non-alfanumeric charachers, and multiple bugs have been removed based on error reports.
