Symptom area on the leaf was traditionally measured qualitatively and it was usually inaccurate. This software provides a new facility to measure any symptom area quantitatively and accurately. A standard green shape with a known area of 1.5 cm2 was used to evaluate the accuracy of the software. Measurements varied between 1.4771 and 1.5095 cm2.
