Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffDecember 1, 2005This application forces the user to take a break at selected intervals but the offered eye examination doesn't provide a guide for test results. Eyes Relaxing and Focusing has a basic interface to customize options for the visual break. Breaks can be scheduled between 15- and 240-minute intervals or started manually at any time. During a break, a screensaver-like window commands the entire screen and instructs the user to look at the screen and blink several times while animated shapes cascade across the screen. It also features an eye examination in which users are required to identify which of four images is different from the other three. While it displays the number of right and wrong answers, it doesn't provide any additional information for what this test is measuring or what your results mean. You're limited to 15 uses in the trial version. Despite its flaws, this is a nice tool to prompt users to take a break during computer sessions.
