Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffJanuary 25, 2010MB Feng Shui Lo Shu gives users an analysis of the missing elements of their life based on their birth date. Although we have no idea if the program properly uses the principles of feng shui, it does provide an analysis with suggestions for improvement. As with all Mystic Board software, the first screen is a clutter of Mystic Board ads. On the next screen, users enter their birth date and gender. The program then provides a diagram of squares labeled with numbers and directions, but users who aren't familiar with feng shui will get no help in understanding how to read it. Next to the diagram, a text box tells users what elements are missing from their lives and gives suggestions on how they can make corrections. A user missing metal, for example, will be told to wear gold on their right hand, among other things; a user missing earth will be told to move their bedroom or office to the southwest corner of their house. The suggestions are straightforward, but users who are looking for information on how feng shui actually works will have to look elsewhere; the online Help file restricts itself to the program's functions.MB Feng Shui Lo Shu has a 30-day trial period. The program installs desktop icons without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. The program also opens a Mystic Board Web page each time it is closed. We cautiously recommend this program; although it does provide results, we have no way of knowing if it is true to the principles of feng shui.
