Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffAugust 29, 2006This easy-to-use typing tutorial boasts a well-designed interface that operates like an animated typing lesson. The program lets you choose either the standard QWERTY style layout or the alternate Dvorak system. And though the first lesson seems elementary, the pace quickly picks up. Only the first five of 24 lessons are included in the trial version, but there's no limit to how many times they can be used. The program supports multiple users and allows each to define their own preferences. Lessons start with a tutorial window that describes the objectives for that particular session. At the end of a tutorial, the report window displays statistics such as accuracy and words per minute, and you also can view your progress in a graph. There's even a tab that offers advice on correct posture and other ergonomic tips. Although we wish the trial version were a bit more robust, this program makes a fine substitute for a real-world typing class.
