CephBasic's easy-to-use interface lets dentists load, edit, evaluate, and store cephalometric images in a SQL-style database structure. Program features include a tracing screen which displays a thumbnail gallery of all images for quick comparison of the treatment state and overall patient progress. Users also can open images into a full-screen view. The program includes advanced analysis features, including the ability to superimpose a series of tracings to analyze changes caused by treatment and growth of the patient. Patient images can be added from existing files or through the use of TWAIN-compatible devices. The whopping trial version (73 MB) only includes one patient record and disables the ability to add more. This serious and expensive program is designed for professional orthodontic use only.
