The interface is not only drab and cluttered, it's not very intuitive. For example, we couldn't initially figure out how to create a new database, so we had to visit the help files for advice. Once we figured out how to access the appropriate menu items, we wished for a step-by-step wizard to make the database design process a bit easier. Adding information such as artist, country of origin, style, keywords, value, and notes is much easier, as you simply browse the logically organized and convenient tabs. The software will let you add photos to visually represent each entry and offers a powerful search engine for quickly finding any entry in your database. Though clearly not geared toward average users, Art & Antique Organizer Deluxe can be useful to museum curators or those with large collections.
