Although Collection Studio neatly arranges its categories, it doesn't offer an intuitive way to start. To input a new coin, for example, you must right-click within the application to access the proper interface. From there you can select from preloaded information on currency name, country, and quality, upload images, and add other data. You can view the total statistics as well as the breakdown of your collection by category. While it also handles book, poster, and stamp collections, it does not give much real estate to those options. Reports can be printed and exported in text files only. With its 10-day trial and a more steep learning curve than we'd like, Collection Studio falls short when compared to similar applications that get the job done with less hassle and more features.
