Although the game offers an involved back story, it's easy to skip it and go straight to the carnage. Unfortunately, unless you have a gamepad, you'll be doing a lot of dancing around the keyboard. More than a dozen controls require various keyboard combinations. Luckily, those controls are user-definable, but you still might need a crib sheet to remember what does what. The demo also forgos the game's Training mode and runs a bit light on instructions, so you'll likely be lost at first. The game's graphics and sound effects also are a bit dated, but this demo's crashing, weapons, and explosions still appeal.
