The Black Mirror demo

It will please fans of quest and adventure games, with rich graphics and an involved story. Most of the action centers on the story itself, yet we got a bit antsy while sitting through long narratives to get a grasp of exactly what's happening. That said, the story is engaging and will please more patient game players. Great textures and details make The Black Mirror visually stimulating, but characters are drawn awkwardly and movement is limited (although we should keep in mind the game was published in 2003, and graphics have improved since.) Creepy music kept us on the edge of our seat, but we would have liked a way to control game sound volume. Overall, a decent demo and one that will whet your appetite for more gameplay.
