This might be for crossword puzzle, wordsearch, or anagram programs, word puzzle solvers, spell checkers, or any word-based applications. Word List Builder creates word lists by scanning plain ASCII text files and importing the words found in them, building up a list which is sorted and saved to a dictionary file. The minimum word length to import can be set and the list can be upper or lower case. Once imported, words can be checked against on-line dictionary, encyclopaedia and thesaurus services as well as Google. Also includes a basic swear filter so you don't have to read large documents such as electronic novels before importing them.
