Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffAugust 25, 2015Despite a few problems, this application makes a decent way to learn the game of craps. As you'd expect, a view of the table takes up the lion's share of SimCraps's real estate. However, you'll also find panes that display helpful game information, such as a roll summary and a graph that shows how much bread you've won or lost. Since these fields are quite useful in following the game, we can forgive that they make the main window appear cluttered. The tutorial option also will help novices get their bearings, although it's a shame the demo only will let you place a few types of the many available bets. The trial version also disables some other important features, but you can at least wager by using hot keys. The main way this game differs from traditional craps is it automatically puts odds on all your bets. You can remove the odds at any times, but you won't know this until you right-click your chips. SimCraps probably won't do much for seasoned players, but those wishing to learn the game would do well to check this game out before entering a real casino.
