In this go-around, gamers play as human colonists on the formerly peaceful planet of Scayra. The planet s natives, the Scay'Ger, were once friendly, but an error with the shield separating the two races allowed a human virus to spread among the Scay'Ger, turning them into rabid killers. Now the humans face a fight for survival. Play is turn-based, with gamers controlling a team of Space Marines, plotting their moves and then watching the animated action through a multitude of camera angles. Players can even switch to view the goings-on through the eyes of any team member or even the alien enemy. Power-ups and surprises are scattered throughout the four levels of this demo, so thorough exploration is encouraged. Look for two instant action bonus levels, too.For those who want to take on human opponents, Incubation also has a multiplayer option. Up to four can play via LAN or the Internet, and two via a serial cable.
