Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffSeptember 2, 2015Die-hard Pac-Man fans will appreciate the extras in this version of the venerable game. PacBomber is Pac-Man with power-ups. You still navigate mazelike courses, trying to eat the blue dots while avoiding the ghosts, but you also can get power-ups that let you drop bombs, move faster, and carry a shield. The program's more advanced levels include teleporters. The game plays very much like the original Pac-Man, although the bombs give you some extra strategy options. The new version's graphics seem improved from past iterations, but they're still not likely to blow anyone's mind. Although PacBomber's gameplay isn't substantially different from Pac-Man, devotees of the original might want to give it a go.
