A group of scientists set up the Church of the New Epoch to break the shackles of the EuroCorp Syndicate--now all but one of those ten scientists has gone insane through mind-expansion experiments. Only Ko-Paull Vissick has resisted the madness of total understanding and gone off on his own, leading a group of freethinkers to their own destiny. The remaining nine scientists have their own insane master plan, and the Syndicate only wants to restore order.
