Charlie II is quite reminiscent of games such as Super Mario Bros., though the character you control is a duck. You must guide your feathered friend around various obstacles and away from enemy birds and worms to collect enough coins and diamonds to advance to the next level. Though not cutting edge, the graphics are certainly good enough, and though the cheerful music didn't bug us, we still would appreciate the ability to turn it off. In fact, a lack of features is this app's biggest flaw, as the only customization options are a full-screen mode setting and three difficulty levels. In our tests, it took some time for us to get past even the game's first board, so we think the program will provide plenty of fun before you pass all six levels offered by the demo. If you're a fan of this type of game, Charlie II won't let you down.
