Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffJune 16, 2015While GoofBall Golf makes a fun and lighthearted way to kill time, it lacks the customization options and polish to be a truly engrossing game. As in its real-life equivalent, this virtual version of miniature golf places many obstacles between your ball and the hole. However, in this game you only have five balls with which to play, so you must take pains to avoid fire, water, lightning, and any other elements that can destroy it. Aiming your ball with the click of a mouse is a simple affair, but it takes skill to calculate the angles and determine exactly how hard you should strike it. GoofBall Golf gives you a bird's-eye view of the course, but because the main window can't be resized, it's impossible to see exactly where the hole is. An overview map could solve this problem. The graphics are rather low budget, and, while goofy, the music is simply distracting and annoying. We were glad for the ability to disable the sound, but that was the only feature we located. If you're looking for a quick diversion, this game fits the bill, just don't expect to be blown away.
