Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffOctober 13, 2013Coloring Book 9: Little Monsters is a computerized coloring book for kids of all ages. With a simple-to-understand screen and easy controls, your child will be coloring a new world in minutes. The program's interface is clearly aimed at little ones, with its bright colors and large icons. We foresee youngsters easily cycling through pages and filling in blanks with splashes of color. If children are old enough to operate a mouse, they should have no trouble navigating this program, though filling in smaller sections will take some precision. There was, however, no Help file, which some parents might not like. Children are offered different scenes of monsters having fun in this program, from eating a house to just looking cute, so there is a lot for youngsters to love. The program's thick lines mimic a physical coloring book well and should feel familiar to young artists. The color palette surrounds the picture's frame and kids can cycle between a rainbow of colors or separate shades of the same color. Unfortunately, the program doesn't provide any special features other than some printing options. We would have like to have seen ways to adjust the size of the book, but we didn't feel confined by it.Though the trial only permits you to color up to five pictures, it still gave us a good idea of how well the program works. With a simple layout and controls almost any child can handle, Coloring Book 9: Little Monsters is a great download for little artists.
