Frozen Fruits

The game combines Arkanoid-style brick-busting with challenging puzzles and a taste of adventure gaming. Your ball only can destroy bricks that match its color, and touching a matching skull ends your attempt. Arrow keys let you swerve the ball in midflight. To destroy all the bricks, you must use color switches, bombs, and arrow plates. You only can move on to the next group of boards when you have completed enough games to bust through the wooden blocks blocking your progress. The game no longer crashes when you try to leave, but we still question its stability, as we got an error mesage when launching it. The graphics are simple and colorful, and the soundtrack is arcade cool. This clever rethinking of Arkanoid should please puzzle fans.
