Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffJune 15, 2015We wanted this game to rock--yet, despite an interesting plot and potential for great action, the graphics and gameplay of this Star Trek adventure were just too awkward to be good. You are the guide to a Vulcan ensign in his quest to solve the mysteries of a hostile alien civilization, and just when you get into the action, the game...ends. The demo only allows one level of play, and you can't save games. What's more, we had a hard time controlling our character. Keyboard controls aren't very intuitive, and there's no option to change them. The 3D graphics, in comparison to most computer games, are fairly simplistic and blocky. Characters are crude, and the world lacks realistic details. Star Trek fans who dig the story may be able to see past the stale look, but we think this game could use an upgrade to bring it to warp speed.
