It stars Wolverine, a mutant with extensible blade-like claws and a personality like his mammalian namesake: ornery, solitary, and ferocious in a fight. Some may argue, but there's little doubt that the brooding anti-hero is the most popular of the X-Men. Fans will love this free pack of five wallpapers based on the game, the movie, and the comic.The pack contains five different wallpapers, each in five different sizes to accommodate a wide range of screen sizes and resolutions. Each contains a detailed scene from the game, which is based on the movie, which does a pretty good job of re-creating the dark-and-stormy look of the X-Men comics and graphic novels. Even the images with the lowest resolution, 1,064x768 pixels, are crisp and clear, though admittedly that's hardly low-res. The largest images are 1,920x1,200 pixels and look great on a newer wide-screen LCD monitor. Which one of the five image sizes you should use depends on your monitor and resolution settings, and how you set them as your desktop background depends on which version of Windows you're using, but the resulting wallpaper looks great.
