Rather than simply giving you a boring, old wall of blocks to knock out, Ballistik tasks you with destroying 3D structures such as buildings and landscapes. As you might expect, the game provides the standard sort of power-ups and bonuses, such as rockets launchers, cannons, and magnetized paddles. The colorful graphics and energetic soundtrack offer no cause for complaint, though you always can turn down the sound. Ballistik also lets you break bricks in the windowed mode, though you can't choose to play with your keyboard rather than the mouse. Arkanoid fans who don't mind the somewhat short one-hour trial probably won't be disappointed with this download.
