Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffJuly 13, 2007If you're still keeping your passwords on Post-Its, maybe its time to find a better solution. CyberAccount makes password storage simple, though it requires registration and works only with Internet Explorer (our tests with Mozilla Firefox failed) and Windows 2000 or XP. After registering the program and adding an account (for example, a Hotmail or Yahoo Mail account), CyberAccount adds a button to your IE toolbar. Click the button, and a menu pops up listing the accounts you've specified. Choosing an account from the list opens that Web page and enters your account ID and password. You can also launch CyberAccount from the Start menu, but only to add a new account or edit an existing one. Another downside is the trial lasts only 15 days. But if you just want a safe storage place for your username and passwords, CyberAccount is suitable for all levels of users.
