Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffFebruary 8, 2005If you want to quickly download articles and other materials for offline browsing, you might try Rip Clip. Once you install the software, all you have to do is type the URL of the site you want and press Enter. Alternately, open the page you want and right-click, then select Rip Clip. Once you've ripped the page, click Extract to save the contents to your hard drive. You can set which file types to extract, too. The best thing about the program is the Excluded Pages tab, which shows you all the links Rip Clip didn't follow. You can browse among those pages to see whether you missed anything good. You can save hours of online time using this program, and spend hours exploring it.
