That's where Reveal comes in. Simply press F2 or Alt tilde, and this clever Firefox extension displays thumbnail images of your tabs. From there, you can jump to a given tab by clicking its thumbnail or selecting it with the keyboard. Reveal also provides a search bar that allows you to quickly filter tabs with keywords. Additional options let you set thumbnail dimensions and the maximum number of thumbnails. The images pop up instantly on a modern PC. For casual users, Reveal may be little more than eye candy, but for hard-core surfers who keep 15 or 20 tabs going at once, it's a great way to save time.
