Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffSeptember 13, 2005With the Web browser wars back in full force, it takes a lot for an alternative browser to step to the front of the pack. Unfortunately, this download doesn't have what it takes. Its interface is decidedly clumsy, offering six tabs that work a bit like TV channel buttons. Users can't add new tabs or close the ones that exist. Nor did switching between tabs work well in our tests. When we clicked on a tab button, the browser often popped up a flickering balloon rather than displaying the correct Web page. On the plus side, the browser is easy on the machine, without even requiring installation. However, the buggy performance and awkward interface together keep us from recommending it to any but the most curious Web surfers.
