Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffFebruary 11, 2005This login manager doesn't stand out among its peers, but it's more convenient and full featured than the equivalent Internet Explorer function. IELaunchpad functions like other programs in the genre. You provide it with usernames and passwords for your favorite sites. It creates an IE toolbar and populates it with shortcuts that launch the appropriate page and automatically fill in the login fields. IELaunchpad supports multiple password-protected profiles, allowing several people to store their logins. On the downside, it looks rather primitive. It only supports IE. And the process for adding new sites forces you to go through the system-tray icon rather than the IE toolbar. The utility also takes up a good deal of memory (8MB), even in the idle state. But if you have several people using the same computer and don't want to hassle with separate Windows profiles, IELaunchPad is a sound choice.
