Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffDecember 7, 2006This program stores passwords and loads of other personal data, but some of its features are shoddy. Personal Web Helper has a sleek main panel, but some areas of the drop-down menu are annoyingly cumbersome and we were forced to use the keyboard at times. The program effortlessly keeps up with multiple user accounts, including passwords and personal information such as your address, phone number, and credit card data. While we're pleased with the password generator and the convenient URL launching, the one-click Web-fill feature failed to work during testing. A surprising bonus is the tracks-cleaning feature to clear passwords, history, caches, and cookies from Internet Explorer. Even more surprising is that employing this feature immediately gives you an error message and closes the program, leaving your tracks intact. While some features are effective in this short, five-day trial, its also got enough nonfunctioning features for most users to want to look elsewhere.
