Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffSeptember 22, 2007This free Firefox add-on lets you test a Web site's accessibility with the click of your mouse. But it's really not a stand-alone program; rather, its a direct link to the TAW Web site.TAW3 With A Click can be accessed four ways: from your Tools menu, with a hot-key combo, by right-clicking, or by clicking the status bar icon. You can opt to open the report page in another tab, or in the current tab. Web sites are assessed using W3C Web-Content Accessibility Guidelines. We were able to choose from three accessibility levels when checking a page. Each time we ran the program, the report page quickly appeared in a new tab. The accessibility tags appeared on the new page, and a more detailed report, including any errors, can be found by scrolling to the bottom of the page.TAW3 keeps a low profile while you're browsing, and if you're a Web developer, it will save you a couple of steps.
