Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffApril 6, 2005This tool lets you download images from a Web site to view offline, but a strict trial limitation stops you from getting the site's complete picture. Memorize Complete Website Copier is not much to look at, but it is functional. The setup is simple, with a browser bar and windows that show the download status and queued files. After we entered a Web address, the program immediately went to work, extracting files and saving them to our hard drive. You're supposed to be able to choose which file types (e.g., HTML, GIF, JPEG) you want pulled from the site, but during testing, the program kept extracting all of the available files. A help menu is missing in action. Another drawback--you can only download up to 100 files per Web site. To view the entire page, you have to register and purchase the product. Overall, Memorize Complete Website Copier performed well during tests, but what's the point if you can't view the entire Web site? Users looking for an offline browser should look for one that snaps the whole picture.
