Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffFebruary 21, 2013Students and researchers will especially love this free tool for saving Web pages, links, images, and even flash video. It's easy to use, customizable, and works without flaw.MetaProducts Inquiry Standard Edition attaches a toolbar to your Internet Explorer window and includes a sidebar that lists all of your links in a tree menu. The toolbar itself is easily customized, but novice users will appreciate the tutorial for getting the most out of the program. You can access the program through IE or through its own browser. With the simple click of a button, we were able to save the Web page we were viewing, and even drag individual links from the page to the sidebar. The AutoSave mode saved all of the pages that we viewed into a folder on the tree menu. We could go back and click on each link to take us back to the designated page, even if it no longer existed online. Hovering your mouse over each link displays a thumbnail of the picture, including the URL, and the date it was saved. This program performed effortlessly for us. We highly recommend this offline browser for users of all skill levels.
