Twins WebNews' interface follows a very common feed reader look and operation. Feeds are listed to the left, articles at top right, with articles displayed bottom right. A command toolbar sits above all three.Twins WebNews includes all of the now expected feed reader functions. You can easily set feeds in categories, move through articles using just the spacebar, and set filters to display a subset of articles. It downloads feeds with a minimum of fuss, but you can't download only feeds in a selected category. This application also doesn't auto-discover feeds by simply entering a site URL. You can sort articles by title or date, but you must use a function key instead of simply clicking the column title. It includes some popular feeds by default, but there is no method to export or import feed subscriptions using OPML.Two years ago this application would have been considered a feature-heavy feed reader. Today, it lags behind many freeware options in the genre. Novice feed reader users might like this application if it is the first they find. However, we feel they should continue their search.
