Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffFebruary 12, 2008In addition to the regular Internet Explorer fare, this customized freeware browser has links to all things eBay for the U.K. The unimaginatively but aptly named Internet Explorer 7 for eBay.co.uk has a two-part installation, even if you already have the latest version of IE loaded on your computer.Once you add the browser, you'll need to restart your computer. The eBay toolbar is installed as soon as your PC reboots. Your existing information--bookmarks, toolbars, and so on--is automatically transferred over. The simple eBay toolbar lets you search the U.K. eBay site, or quickly link to your account or other eBay sites. The toolbar has a number of customization options, allowing you to add or remove more than a dozen buttons. Some of the notable options include alerts for buying and selling, so you can know when you are outbid or receive a question on one of your items. There's also a link to sign-in to your account, and several security options are found on the toolbar's Account Guard menu, including reporting suspicious sites and changing your eBay passwords. In addition to the toolbar, there are links added to the Favorites menu for eBay, Skype, PayPal, and specific eBay pages like Community and BuyHub. If you're an active eBay user and don't have the latest version of Internet Explorer, this is a one-stop browser for all eBay activities.
