Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffJuly 2, 2013Have you ever found yourself confronted with a gallery of thumbnail images that required you to click link after link in order to view them at full size? What about a blog post or news article that linked to numerous other pages within the text? If you're tired of clicking, try Linkclump. This simple Chrome extension lets you open multiple links at once, which can be a tremendous time saver.Like most Chrome extensions, Linkclump installed without issues. The program opened a tab containing brief instructions and an opportunity to try Linkclump out, with links to several popular sites. It really couldn't be easier: just hold down the Shift key and the left mouse button, and then drag your cursor to select the links you want to open. The selected area will be highlighted in yellow, with each individual link outlined in red. Release the mouse, and Linkclump automatically opens all the selected links in new tabs within Chrome. An Options menu lets you specify both the mouse button and key that will activate Linkclump, and you can also set the extension to ignore links containing certain words, wait a specified number of seconds between opening each tab, block repeat links, and open links in reverse order. Linkclump can also be set to open links in new windows, bookmark them, or copy them to the clipboard. With the Smart Select feature enabled, Linkclump will attempt to open only important links. Overall, we found Linkclump to be extremely easy to use, and we think it's a must-have for anyone who needs a quick way to open or save lots of links.
