Easy Data Backup's functional interface is nothing special, although even beginners will find it easy to use. You start by creating a profile, specifying the folders you want to back up, and the destination for the backup files. You can schedule the backup process on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. In our tests, Easy Data Backup worked well when backing up smaller profiles but tended to crash when processing larger batches. In some instances, the program crashed simply trying to open test profiles. Even when the program worked, we found that Easy Data Backup didn't compress files when it created an archive, so our backups could potentially have eaten up a lot of space. The demo version limits you to 10 backups. Though anyone could use Easy Data Backup, we can't call it the perfect backup utility.
