Format changes
Ten franchises play a single season with double-elimination playoffs — split A/B is gone. The access division takes teams 8th–10th plus six qualified sides.
Money and talent
Viewership grew 22% last cycle, drawing the league’s biggest non-endemic sponsorship. Every franchise must now field a sub-20 roster with at least 20 minutes of play per split. Season starts January, finals in April, free Portuguese broadcasts everywhere.
